This is a personal whinge from me, but I'm getting pretty tired of people who sign up for runs and then don't bother turning up on the night.

I'm not sure if any of you realise how hard it is to actually put a 10 man raid together, to make sure you have the right mix of classes, sufficient dps for the instance you're taking on, and not to mention that you may have 18 sign ups and know you're going to disappoint people when you only have 10 slots.

I know we have standby's for runs but that's not really the point. If you sign up for a run, please check to see if you've been selected and if you have, be there on time.

If for what ever reason you know you can't make it, then put a message on the forum page, send a txt to a mate who's online and can get a message through, send an officer a pm through the forum, send another an in game letter. It's not hard.

If you continue to not turn up for runs after signing up for them without a valid reason, you simply won't be included in future runs.

Could I add a whinge too Aine?

In regards to instances that people have not encountered before, could they please at least watch the vids or read up on the tactics in WoW Wiki?

It is very time consuming when someone has to explain from scratch how an encounter works... whereas a 5 min wander into Tankspot will alleviate much of that by watching their excellent vids :)

Completly agreed with the above, I had a little chat with fern about it yesterday.

I was quite surpised to find out yesterday that tonights raid was already confirmed whilst some ppl might had not seen the invite yet. I asked fern wether confirming is going to be done a lot sooner cause I think it's better to wait for the day itself. He said that there is an aim to get raid invite up around sunday/monday for the whole week.
I wasn't aware of this yet so will have a look from now on. The thing is that he said that this was done so ppl knew earlier if they were confirmed or not so they knew if they had to show up.
I think that if you sign up you make a decission that you have time to be there on time and ready for raid. if not then don't sign in, wheter you're on standby or not you should always be there 15 mins ahead!
